I'll say it again because it really cannot be stated enough:

Michael Carrick needs to stop acting like a fucking pussy when playing for England and dictate the fucking play.

Stop sideways passing to Gerrard and flumps and fucking stamp your authority on the game you idiot.

This is the responsibility of the manager. He is not the senior player and will just stick to his role unless told otherwise.

that's a bit over the top. Holland friendlies say fuck all (we're always crap in those matches). You watched a totally unispired team. We indeed were shite v Albania too. But v Bulgaria we played better than I've seen England play in 2006.

Carrick is too much of a pussy to work in that formation at the moment.

Took him nearly two months to grow some balls in the United midfield. God knows how long it will be with England.

Wilson 'the team who invented total football is being out played' .. so it was Ajax v England Doh Laugh Wink

Lawro 'the future is not bright'

you know nothing about Dutch football you ignorant twat.

    The game

Oranjes best IMO - Schaars (Lampard did not know what he was facing), Urby (i thought he played very well), Seedorf (for his first game in two years .. he did OK), Robben, van der Vaart (should have scored more than once)

Richards amazing for England, good to see J.Cole back .. Rooney and Gerrard threatened .. Carrick was given to much space for his only shot on goal ....

I loled at how many times they mentioned the 4-1. He is right about that are too many shitty ajax players in the squad tho. Still bad match from both, but at least we tried sometimes to play.

average defending, very poor buildup : a 5 for both of them

gave away the goal, also poor in buildup : a 3

he wasn't good, but not as bad as a 2.

a 4.5 is more like it

    jonathan de guzman wrote:
    Schaars 5

I didn't think he did any better than the other midfielders, except that he showed more effort and is less experienced.

    So a 5 is okay.

    jonathan de guzman wrote:
    Seedorf 5

The curse on his performances for Oranje is still in effect.

He *needs* a proper playmaker besides him to be effective.

VDV in midfield and Kuyt as RW would have solved so many problems...

He did give the ball away too often though : 4.5

    jonathan de guzman wrote:
    Robben 6

What more could he do ?

He had to do it all by himself....

I'd say he deserves at least a 7

Played out of position once again.

He did try his best : 6.

    jonathan de guzman wrote:

Potentially our best player completely wasted on the RW.

Still he and Robben were the only threats.

....and of course it was Goudhaantje to score the goal : a 7.

    (I can't help it, I'm a VDV-fan)
