Our playmaker was playing as right winger.

We didn't have a decent centre striker (who said we didn't need Ruud or Roy ). That also meant Kuyt was left out to dry as much as Andy Johnson was.

Both backs were rubbish while the best backs we have didn't even make the (original selection).

Van Basten didn't need Seedorf because Sneijder/Van der Vaart are his main playmakers. Two out of those three were on the pitch, neither played as playmaker.

I'm sick and tired of these woeful performances : I WANT VAN BASTEN OUT, NOW !!!

Only good thing is : at least we're not as shite as Germany

that's a bit over the top. Holland friendlies say fuck all (we're always crap in those matches). You watched a totally unispired team. We indeed were shite v Albania too. But v Bulgaria we played better than I've seen England play in 2006.

It's not that they don't give a toss, it's because there are very few players in the England team with an above average amount of technical skill. It is our running and our directness which has got even to this level.
