A draw would be nice...BilalShah wrote:Tough game against Stuttgart . hope Bayern can do a winning run from here.

I may have some strange likes but the combination of orange and green isn't one of them, sorry, Chrissi.chrissicross wrote:Come on Wiebke, I know you secretly like our jerseys...anglophileHedgehog wrote:Not quite...chrissicross wrote:Sie spielen in leuchtend grün-orangen Trikots, um die sie ein jeder beneiden wird.
Oh no, I'm not angered by the loss at all--we just didn't have the chances that would have warranted a win today while Bayern seem to have recovered what really characterised them in the last few years.Pierre Littbarski wrote:Literally watched only 2 mins of Bayern game but I would be very pissed off if I were a Stuttgart fan.
van Buyten should have been sent off a couple of mins before the winning goal was scored and van Bommel fouled Boka before setting up Pizzaro for that goal.
Incidentally van Buyten should get a lengthy ban (for Bundesliga and CL) as he clearly and deliberately stamped on Cacau's (?) head.
Disgraceful incident - Cacau had to leave the game and was bleeding heavily.

PS: It was Pardo who got stamped on by van Buyten and had to have stitches.

Oh well--third place, same amount of points as Werder... What more can you want? I've said it before, but it doesn't hurt to reiterate that for me personally, they have already exceeded the expectations I had after the pretty dire pre-season and horrendous first few matches. By far.
It's only natural that such a young team does need some time to get some more consistency and I'd rather lose against Bayern now than to some relegate towards the end of the season. So yeah--it went how it went, and the team will have to deal with it. Matches like this one (or, more precisely, the aftermath) are the real test for a team and I'll be hoping they can use it to their advantage and make up for it next weekend.
Mund abputzen und weiter gehts.

Bremen seems to struggle a bit since Otto doesn't support them any longer so I guess Chrissi and Blut are well-advised to win him over to support Bremen again.

I doubt Klose or Merte could be convinced to play in the second division next year...otto: Albion's No 1 fan wrote:

if I was a plastic fan I 'd be open to offers to rejoin the WErder-fanclub once more; you certainly need me
since my Hamburg loyalty is beyond doubt I fear you'll have to move heaven and earth + sell us Klose AND Merte
let the negotiations begin
Yeah, I've read about it. We have to make sure he moves to Werder Bremen when the time comes...he and Schlaudraff and Helmes.otto: Albion's No 1 fan wrote:
