Hoffenheim have pulled one back against Leverkusen - so it's 3:2 there at the moment. Wolfsburg are leading 2:1 against Eintracht. And HSV have just taken the lead, it's now 2:3 at Arminia Bielefeld after a goal by Olic - which is a little disappointing from my perspective - I wondered, with them being down at half-time, whether Atouba was going to prove the man behind all their relative success, and the thought appealed to me as a Newcastle fan - but they've turned things around without him.

Best goal of the season so far by Baumjohann fooling the entire Werder defence. Pauuwe and Alberman were very strong.

About Werder: It was the worst first half of a Werder team for a long time.
They didn´t thread the Gladbach goal at all. Their defence looked extremly vulnerable (Prödl !) Their midfield didn´t work.
They were better in the 2nd half though.

All in all deserved victory for us.

Just finished watching the third matchday on ARD.

So, I don´t think that will happen. He´s already a legend for Werder.
And Werder used to be very patient in situations like that.

He announced to play attacking football before the start of the season. Apparently it was no empty promise. Nice change to "die Null muss stehen" Stevens.

He would have been a good asset to the team. At least in special situations. There are more than enough heavy bulldozers in the Mannschaft.
