Toni to Bayern Empty Toni to Bayern

    Post by Ä Fri Nov 17, 2006 3:23 pm

apparently, Munich have already contacted his agent

the money is there as well

    is this likely ?

would it make any sense ? would Toni be happy to leave Italy and would he adapt ?

presumably, Pizarro would be sold and Makaay would become a sub

Poldi and Toni would lead the front-line with Deisler and Schweini feeding them from the wings

a proper no 10 would still be needed though

    interesting stuff

Italian players don't tend to leave their country

    so it's probably a long-shot

would toni and Poldi hit it off though ?

Rosenberg would not even be good enough at my beloved Heerenveen Wink

Makaay to Ajax: next thing he would be in the Elftal no problem

what about Pirlo to Bayern ? is that a good idea ?

Yeah, I doubt it will ever happen. Toni announced earlier this week he is staying and he doesn't want to leave! Like Deano said, if he had to go anywhere it would most likely be to Milan or Inter(though I can't see why they need him)!

Beacuse Adriano the striker is an oxymoron? and Ibrahimovic is totally overrated?

I think you will go Toni....

who would you prefer Toni or Iaquinta?

As an out and out striker , Toni>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ibra

As a supoort striker( which is Ibra's role at inter), Ibra>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Toni .

Imo one of the best support strikers in europe.

Toni preferably. I like him and i think Gila and him can cause serious damage together. They had a great partnership in the Holland and Germany friendly for Italy last season! I would like to see them togther, especially for club!

I notice him every time i see inter play cuz he is always involved. The thing i hate about him is his showboating, always trying to do some flicks and tricks whilst just a simple pass will do.

typical Ibra....It often makes him look like a prat....

There is obviously some quality there...but I dont think that he always uses it...or in the way it should be used....like you said.

Toni is a top player, no question about it; he would be brilliant at Bayern

but when do the best Italians ever leave Seria A ?

    ------------------

    @chrissi

I will forever remain a "humble German"

but now that it is fashionable for Englanders to bash their own country (one of them was wishing for England NOT to qualify for the EC so that he did not have to watch that horror-show at a Cup), I feel like I am the "most pro-English" poster around here

    more by default than anything

considering the state of the Three Lions they need any German help they can get Wink

Otto your name is most confusing though... I can't have been the only one to think you meant West Bromwich Albion; the designation is a bit archaic for most of the English posters on this board, I fear...

    @allez

actually I wanted to change my name to

    "otto: England's best friend"

but it was too long and did not fit

so I looked for a shorter version and "Albion" popped into my head, after all, don't the French call England " Perfide Albion" ?? Wink

a little joke nobody on here was going to get but it made me smile nonetheless

you see, that's what it has come down to on this board: little, humble otto sitting in his own corner enjoying a bit of intellectual masturbation whilst the rest of the world moves on wondering why he supports yet another bunch of losers Laugh

Well, I got your little joke, Otto. When I saw your new name for the first time I googled for "Albion" since I wondered what its meaning might be... Biggrin
