yep, everybody is outside dancing naked in the icecold tulipfields.

Belgium have a very good team though (they say their best youth team ever, know a few players, they're good). Portugal should have a decent team (they always have). Can't judge Israel.

Agree the other group is much tougher.

    Huntelaar's all-time high

The UEFA European Under-21 Championship finals will take place in the Netherlands next summer and Klaas Jan Huntelaar will be there, in spirit, if not in person. By attending Friday's draw in Arnhem for the eight-team tournament, Huntelaar was paying his tribute to the competition that put the seal on a remarkable 2006 for the AFC Ajax forward.

    Glory trail

First he joined Ajax last January after scoring 17 goals in 15 league games for SC Heerenveen - form he maintained throughout the second half of the Eredivisie campaign, striking another 16 times in as many matches for his new club. Then, after more than justifying his national-record €9m price tag by hitting both Ajax goals in their Dutch Cup final victory over PSV Eindhoven, the team that had released him as a youngster, he fired his country to glory at the U21 finals in northern Portugal.

    Golden moment

Huntelaar does come up for breath sometimes, and the 23-year-old took a break from his busy schedule with UEFA Cup contenders Ajax and the Dutch senior side to talk to uefa.com. So where to start? "Winning the U21 final, that was the most beautiful memory for me," Huntelaar said. "To receive the gold medal and the trophy was great - there is nothing like that winning feeling. You go to tournaments to win and when you actually lift the prize, you feel tremendous pride and happiness. When you manage to achieve something, it gives you great pleasure."

Willl Belgium play with players like Maarten Martens (AZ), Kompany (HSV), Van de Borre (Anderlecht), Vermaelen (Ajax), De Mul (Ajax), Dembélé (AZ), Dereijck (Feyenoord), De Ceular (Feyenoord) and Belgiums biggest talent: Steven Defour (Standard)?????

Those are fabulous talents much and better than the current Dutch U-21 team....

Tough draw for Italy, the czechs are very very good, and england can always cause problems... serbia are supposed to have a brilliant youth team as well.

But I guess if you want to be a champion, you gotta prove it... and Italy have won 5 out of the last 8 of these championships....

Is Bulgaria as good as Holland? scratch And as Holland "only" got a draw against England, that in turn lost against Croatia, does it mean Croatia is better than England and Holland?

If you say yes, then Cyprus is as world class as Germany, but the question remains: Is Germany world class?

We have a good and very young team, but I don't consider our team world class, just as little as England or Holland (but that's only my opinion).

Belgium has some great talents, still don't get it why they don't get a chance in the senior squad. It's not that it could be worse for them Biggrin

Italy and England are pretty good as well, don't expect anything from the Dutch tho. But we have some major talents U-17.

Because Belgiums senior squad have an idiot as a coach who doesn't like to change his team.

I hope Logan Bailly will play. He's a 20-year old goalkeeper who currently plays for KRC Genk. Watch out for him.

Yes, I know Vandereyken is such cunt. PLaying 5-3-2 against Kazachstan. And selecting players like Mpenza, Goor and Leonard. It just don't make sense. Belgium has a truely gifted squad and the results are worse then ever. <Ale>

If Belgium don't win their next game, he's out. And since we are already out of the running to qualify for Euro2008, I hope we lose our next game so we don't have to look at that pathetic style of football. Bring on the young lads!!
