Got this off the Milan site:
Doctor Jean Pierre Meersseman analysed the Rossoneri injury situation case by case on Milan Channel:
Things are difficult at the moment, but yesterday we had good news about Kaladze. He doesn’t have anything serious just some muscular fatigue and he should be able to recover in time for Florence. Just like Kakà, who had only a bit of pain in his foot when he kicked. Dida will be examined by Dr. Martens on Thursday and we hope he won’t need an operation.
One of the principal problems is that we don’t have many players at the moment and therefore we must risk playing those that perhaps aren’t at 100%. Like Seedorf, for example, he needs some time to rest, three to four days to resolve the small problem that he has. But, he can’t stop because he is needed. Kaladze wanted to play at any price and we know how that went.
We are counting on everyone to give a hand, including the fans, in this difficult moment. Nesta needed an operation, but we chose the conservative path, but instead of improving the situation it aggravated it. The pain increased and then he took a hit in a practice game on November 19 and then even he preferred to have an operation. Now he can rest a bit and then start rehabilitation. The surgeon gave him a prognosis of three months, so he should be back in the middle of March. Also the conservative route was taken with Serginho, we tired everything without result and we were forced to go with the operation. He will have to stay either lying down or on his feet for a week, no sitting down.
Ambrosini doesn’t have an specific problem, only some pain in various areas that moves around. Yesterday after the tests and exams, we decided to begin with some basic preparation because it is the lack of preparation that created these problems. He should be back in two or three weeks and then there’s the break. So, we hope to have him at 100% on January 10. Gattuso is extraordinary. We thought he would return for Christmas, in another 15 or 20 days. He is doing well and has done some great work, six or seven hours a day at Milanello. He even worked three times as much as he should have and I had to stop him. He is at 95%, even there we took some risks, but he wanted to help the team. We are happy that he is back but can't expect him to play another three games in a row at 100%.
Favalli is recovering at a good pace, there’s just a little left to go. Costacurta is also moving along very well. The problem with his calf came about because he worked and played too much for his age. He played three games in a row. However it’s going better than expected. We’ve been thrown off by the lack of preparation, in addition to having paid for the psychological impact of what happened this summer.
GRANDE RINGHIO! Wow he is amazing, never gives up and his hard work has paid off!
Poor Ambro I hope he gets better soon!
Wow what a loyal Kaladze, amazing he risks himself for the team, but now if he is out for the next game that doesn't help! Speriamo things go well!
Nesta, gosh I just want him back! I hate seeing him out hasn't he had enough injury problems???
Serginho, the poor lad! No sitting just lying or Standing gosh that's bad! I hope he gets beter soon
As for the rest I hope they all come right and hope to see them playing soon!
