Why do people bash Sheva so much ?

He's playing in a team who don't play a single creative player in their starting XI - what the fuck do people expect him to do ?

Did you see Lampard 13 mins in ?

Trademark Sheva run and Lampard ignores it for the shot - it would have been a simple chance.

If he was playing for Milan or Ukraine and getting no service he would drop back in between the midfield and striker and make something happen (great shot just now from that area) but with Lampard and Ballack in the team that area is cramped.

We all laughed at Milosevic and Forlan because they missed loads of chances - how many clear cut chances has Sheva actually missed this season ?

Not many and he'll be on edge when he does get one 'cos it may be another 3 games when the next one comes along.

All this talk of him not making it in the Prem - I bet if he was playing for Man U or Arsenal he'd be banging them in.

Sheva did brilliantly in the build up to the goal.

Like Drogba, he will struggle 1st season, but come into his own in the 2nd season.

When Bergkamp and henry 'flopped' in serie A no one blamed the tactics or teams, it was because they weren't good enough to cut it in the 'best league in the world'. I am afraid the same has to apply to sheva: if he flopped in the EPL it's because he couldn't cut it in arguebly the second best league in the world.

I don't see the difference between Sheva`s first season and Drogba`s. They both cost a bomb, and they both had a poor first season at Chelsea.

What I don't understand about your team is that last season I saw them passing the ball a lot more than this season. Level of opposition? I recall a lot of the same players, but now they just hoof it up.

Yes, Manchester City looking good, and Arsenal...my gosh. In my opinion, Wenger and the team as a whole are very concerned about their last matchday CL game against Porto. I think the Porto match is in their minds a lot. It also hurts that Gallas is out.
