Since no one else has said anything yet, I think the US are screwed. He was by far their best option.

Have they been without a coach for 6 months now?

I actually don't mind then being screwed... let them stick to their NFL, NBA, NHL and all the other "entertainment events"..

Very surprising, but then again it's kinda typical for him.
But he always said he wants to work as a coach again in the future, so I wonder what he's planning to do then? Maybe coaching a football club in the USA...

Oh well, he can always come back to the Vaterland.

Cherundolo recently said Klinsmann is going to do the job, so it's a bit of surprise to hear that.

but never mind, now he has more time to recover from "burn out"...
