I haven't used it as an excuse to say "Man Utd are only top because Chelsea are without Terry" or even "Chelsea would have won all our recent games comfortably with Terry in the team".
All that I have ever said is that it's no coincidence that the moment he is taken out of the side, the team starts conceding more goals, and has to rely on late, 'wonder' goals, to win games.
