the best striker ever needs 13 more goals to achieve the mark.

after playing in the US and Australia, he's back in Vasco. since FIFA doesnt allow a player to play in more than 2 clubs in a season, maybe he won't play this year, what would be a pity.

A few of those goals are dodgy though, and only playing against weakened opponents. Might as well count all the goals he scored from the age of 6-15 on the playing field.

Still one of the greatest footballers ever. Go get that 1000th goal.

This harks back to Pele supposedly scoring 1000 - again this is very suspect - for example this total includes goals scored in his national service for the Brazilian army

but Pelé scored 1282 goals

Yeah Romario doesn't need to worry, just beg and plead like Liverpool, add in a bit of a sense of arrogant entitlement like they do, and he'll get the permission he needs.
