Reports in Italy are suggesting that Juventus are close to signing Barcelona ace Javier Saviola, who could join the outfit in June.

I just hope you arent one of the clubs who are coming after Quagliarella!

Samp for 4th place

He'll be off when a bigger and better club is in for him...

On a serious note, Juve have already secured Grygera, Salhamidzic, and now Saviola. They will be challenging for the scudetto next season.Deaño-WHUFC wrote:Juventus will have a squad that will get them back in the top 4/5 straight away!

And now emerson is being linked with a comeback to Juve. Nobody appreciates deserters but then I guess we are desperate

We are not just talking about a player, but the 2 of the main players of the team, without considering they lost cannavaro and zambrotta already. You also highlighted Cristiano Zanetti who is good but nothing special, so I am assuming that since he is one of the more talented the others cannot be all that special.
Of course this team is going to be near the top, and does not seem to be in as bad a condition as I thought, but without the ref giving them penalties in injury time, which was key to them winning quite a few matches. I actually see the ref's being harder on them in order to not seem to be being nice to them, so cannot see them getting many penalties at all.

so what does Lazio have to do with his possible transfer?

*grumble*
I remember reading that Terlizzi was is a Roman and Lazio fan. You're putting off the inevitable Deano. Maybe Samp can sign Davenport to replace him... They're probably the only club stupid enough to waste money on hi- My mistake

then it's more of a reason for him to move. With Del Piero getting past his time & Trez not sure if he will continue, Juve will need some experienced strikers apart from their youngsters like Palladino & Bojinov
bluenine wrote:C Zanetti may not be special, but IMO he is >>> Carrick and Hargreaves as a holding midfielder - thats why I have him highlighted... He refused to play second fiddle to Cambiasso at Inter, something Vieira/Dacourt accepted.
Some of the not-highlighted ones can make teh starting XI of a top Serie A or EPL side.
