I just heard about Oojiers injury, nasty stuff. A broken leg and fucked ankle ligaments. At 32 years old that is VERY bad news.

I blame modern football boots (not for this specific injury, but in general for more foot injuries). Metatarsel injuries are far more common place than they used to be.
