Former Ajax coach Danny Blind is set to return to the Eredivisie to take charge of Sparta Rotterdam, according to Dutch media reports.
ELF claims that the 45-year-old will sign a four year contract with the club in the coming days, and Gert Aandewiel, currently at Haarlem, will join as his assistant.
Blind spent seven years as a player at Sparta, between 1979 and 1986, before moving to Ajax, with whom he won five Eredivisie championships as well as every major honour in the European club game.
