Oleguer Loses Sponsorship deal Empty Oleguer Loses Sponsorship deal

Kelme have decided to terminate their sponsorship deal with Oleguer after his comments on the Eta terrorist De Juana Chaos

Catalans have now started an internet counter-campaign against Kelme (4000 signatures) claiming he's a victim of "catalanofobia" Laugh

This is just one example of why I hate Catalans. Their snooty attitude towards the rest of Spain and their constant references to the Civil War when they were opressed by Franco - get over it it was more than 30 years ago. Also their double standards in regards to international business. They hate speaking Spanish in daily life but find no problems speaking it to their multinational clients, I wonder if they make them take classes in Catalan?

Something about the "Rule of Law" in Spain having many holes in it and the 'smell of hypocrisy' seeing how the Spanish government has released other Eta terrorists. No doubt zETAp will cave in and release him and his buddies.

Oleguer deserves this for sticking his nose in the realms of politics. He also earlier claimed that he might not play for the Spanish national side if he were called up.

He never officially got called up to the squad, I don't think. And when there was talk of him being called up, no one knew whether he would accept it or not.

Olegeur is entitled to his opinions and to voice them if he so wishes. Just because he is a footballer doesn't mean he is prohibited from doing so.

When I was younger I considered Barcelona as my second team but I detest what Laporta and company have done, hijacking FC Barcelona into a publicity machine for Catalan nationalism. Now you get english journos referring to them as the catalan side.

That's always been the case. Even before Laporta came in the club was always called "Catalan giants" in any news report.

I was browsing around the Kelme website, and it's so cheesy it's hilarious. Go to this link:
    http://www.kelme.com/usa/team/equipokelme/index.asp

Their description of Oleguer makes him sound like Maldini, and what's even funnier is their main tag-word for Francesco Coco is "strength". Quite ironic, considering he's been injured for the past 5 or 6 years Laugh

he does highlight a worrying lack of political independence of the judicial system in Spain. This is true from both sides of the political spectrum.
