Yup! we could only keep hold of Defoe and Carrick...had to sell Cole,Johnson,Sinclair,James,Kanouté and Bowyer

The difference is we were in big debt and had no money....the situation is now totally different...

the only players that will be up fo grabs are Mullins,Ferdinand,NRC and Bowyer

I would take one of Ashton, Bent, and Tevez. I would probably take Baines aswell.

Also a lot of players coming to the end of their contracts...now its different most have 3-5 years...Magnusson already said that Green,Gabbidon,Benayoun and Ashton will not go no matter what happens!
