The best i can say is the Albion vs Arsenal last season, not very historic and memorable well for us albion fans it was, but its not often you can say you beat Arsenal and i was 2 metres from the pitch so that made the victory even better but im still young and have many games i will/want to go to in the years to come.

Games you were there!
Is there any posters throughout the board that were there at any memorable or historic matches either in the EPL, La liga, Serie A and/or international, as a matter of fact ANY game that people will be talking about in the future?

Re: Games you were there!
I was there for the Liverpool V Leeds Charity Shield!
The game finished 4-3 (the year Leeds won the league) and Cantona and Saunders were both immense.
Apart from that I haven't been to any amazing games really

Re: Games you were there!
I went to the 1998 and 2003 FA Cup finals and a couple of community shields. I was at Highbury when we beat Everton 4-0 to win the title in 1998 which was quite a big moment. Also not such a historic game but I saw Kanu's hattrick against Chelsea which was memorable.
If it wasn't for university I would have gone to Madrid and Paris on our CL run this season like my dad and brother did. Really missed out there!

I was so trying to get tickets for that, but all were sold out. Turns out that there were still around 150 seats in the stadium and that FIFA took something like 15% of all tickets and flogged them in the black market.Hardrada wrote:Chels 4 - 2 Barsa was a pretty memorable game.

The worst bit is that there are a load of seats in the MHL / MHU that are covered with a black sheet for no apparent reason.
I think its something to do with camera equipment.

What's also worse is that tickets for the MHU cost £60 (have you seen tickets at Arsenal's new stadium will cost £94!! )

Re: Games you were there!
In terms of City i guess beating U*d 4-1 will live long in the memory. Also our 2 promotions scoring 2 goals in injury time to come back to draw then win on pens Vs Gillingham was incredible.
Id love to say i was but I wasnt at Spurs away when we came back from 3-0 to win 4-3 in the last minute with 10 men and Anelka taken off injured. That has to be the best FA Cup come back of all time in my opinion. When we scored the 4th the pub i was in just went mental, there wasnt that many City fans there but as we got more and more into the game more people wanted us to do it.
Lots of games like Macclesfield away and Bury at home will live in the memory. Bury was terrible and just summed up the decline of the club. We were shocking and scored and own goal and lost 1-0. The guy behind were i was sat got up and walked on the pitch and ripped up his season ticket. The after the game we all went to the front of the ground and protested chanting 'Sack the Board'.
8 years later and we are back in the Prem and looking decent but its always good to look back at how shit we were and the shit we have gone through to get back to were we are today.

Re: Games you were there!
The highlight games of my life are the World Cup final in 1990 and the Euro 96 final at international level.
Club level is the 1:1 in Hamburg in 2001 with the 5 minute into injury time equaliser that won us the title. In fact, that was the most crazy game of them all. Then 4 days later in the San Siro against Valencia. Many other personal highlights, but those games will be with me forever. One recent one for me would also be Germany v Argentina in the world cup this year. In all the Germany games I've attended, there has never been such unity amongst the crowd, and such a party atmosphere.
