Darren Bent makes it two in two. The ex-Tottenham striker plays the initial cross and is on hand when Kenwyne Jones's shot ricochets in his direction, slotting past Petr Cech.

    Making em and scoring em.

Ancelotti will be sacked before Christmas if this continues. You would think he would have noticed that the diamond system failed for Chelsea last season. I know he liked playing it at Milan, but he had Kaka there not Flumps and a past it Deco.

    And Pirlo rather than Mikel.

Though he does have Essien, he hasn't a clue how to use him. Looks like Liverpool are favourites for the title again.

Wrong free kick = goal. then fluke to beat hull at home now struggling here. even if they finish 3rd and win nothing, they'll still be 80% of the boards favourites to win it all next year cause of their ''great squad'' with the ''best players''. right.

I dunno, we never got to see that much of him but he never seemed to be able to cope with the premiership level defenders. Seemed to find his level in lower league..wouldnt mind having him now though definitely, probably exactly the sort of forward we could use.

CL group stages are easy for the top clubs, so he could well be sacked before he gets to the one part of the season where he has a truly outstanding record.

Yeah Very Happy He seemed that way. I always just thought of him as a bit of a spud.

We've got bags of pace in the side now, but no height and no especially good finishers either.
