Really not sure...he's not among the top scorers in Segunda or anything like that...I thought I heard he was injured for a while, but in truth I don't know.

I haven't seen Salamanca play but the latest edition of World soccer seemed to imply he had been doing well. Wasn't in the team against Cadiz on Saturday though - not sure why.

Some of the Betis fans are great - some are scum. Sevilla should be handed the tie. Hope JR is okay.

I just know that my Italian ex-girlfriend just loved to throw objects at me. I thought it to be a cliché, but it really wasn't. Very Happy

Well no one has died - its not quite as serious in Spain as it is Italy - however there are problems. This is the only match that causes any mass scale violence.

    No it's true. Laughing

It's still shameful...Juande is ok, thankfully, but if the idiot threw something else or it hits him differently, maybe he isn't so lucky. The violence has to stop.

I never said it was as serious, but it just goes to show it can happen anywhere.

And the racism problem in the crowds is pretty bad in both countries also.

I had a feeling you would respond with that though.

The LFP need to start closing stadiums when things like this happen, surely they have to draw the line at this, something has to be done.

BTW: We are still waiting for the Poo Camp to be closed after the Figo incident Whistle

Who knows...everyone is still waiting for the Camp Nou to be closed after the pig-head incident...but since it's not Barcelona, they'll probably play behind closed doors for some number of games, maybe a fine.
