Wembley - I don't like it

First off, generally I think it looks really good, but why did they have to install that fucking screen in the middle of the stands?

It looks so crap and completely ruins the stadium for me

Too much concreate for me.

Its not steep enough either, in a good stadium you should feel slightly scared on the steepness

Drove past it the other week, looks lovely from the outside.

Agree it looks great from the outside, but the inside is not really that impressive. Hopefully people will gorw to like it including myself, doubt it though

You should see what else they have planned for the exterior, it looks pretty impressive - business and retail as well as an improved public realm and access to the nearby underground stations

Wembley, the area, is a goshforsaken heckhole yes?

Its not particularly nice at the moment - but it has potential -its on the jubilee line, it has a pretty decent park adjacent to the stadium, and when the new stadium is completed, its likely the area will start to get gentrified

Only two lines? that two more than a lot of places - the Bakerloo and Jubilee lines are both pretty decent though.

What the hell are these stations. wembley park station only metropolitan and jubilee lines go there, and thats the station next to wembley stadium

Yes but you can walk from the other two to Wembley easily enough - from wembley central its ten minutes

the conversation had moved onto the wembely area rathere than just the stadium anyhow
