Good result, average game compared to the El Classico last night. I think Inter will go the whole season unbeaten. Its a shame for Inter that they went out of the CL so early, as it only adds weight to the weak Seri A theory. Which is true to an extent, but Inter have a fantastic team.

The "weak" Serie A still has two teams in the CL quarters... CL is a KO competition - however good a team is, you are not guaranteed to win. Shit happens, sometimes.

But yeah, this game was not as good... it was very similar to the Barca-Real game, too many defensive errors (by Milan)... the derby last november was so much better.

Apart ffrom the 30,000 whistles everytime Ronaldo touched the ball today, he had some nice banners welcoming him back:

    ‘Ronaldo like Navarro, evil.’

‘Better one day like Recoba than 100 as Ronaldo’,

‘You left as a rabbit and returned like a pig’ Laugh

    ‘Watch out for your knee…’

I didnt mean to say that Seri A was weak, just that because Inter are running away with the league and out of europe early. It will mean it will take the gloss of a fantastic season, as detractors of Inter will use that as confirmation that Inter arent that good, that simply the opposition isnt very good.

Inter have been fantastic this season and you dont win that many games and play the way they do, without being an excellent team.Do you see my point?

    PS Whats happened to Adriano?

Sorry, I misunderstood. Yeah, being out of CL so early is a bit of a bummer. We could so easily have gone all the way.... but I guess its not gonna be a perfect season... a great one, nevertheless. Critics will always have something to say, that is something that never stops.

Adriano is out injured, small injury tho and was expected by today... I guess he will be back next week... and Vieira and cambiasso are likely in a coupla weeks too, hope at least one of them makes it for the Roma game... then we'll rock 'em again.

bluenine wrote:I have supported this club for 2 decades now, am one of the earliest members of Interlist, founding member of Inter fan club in Delhi, Inter Fan club London (yeah, I live here now), and have been supporting Inter before Ronaldo started playing professional football. I have been to San Siro many times (tho prefer to watch Inter games at the olympico in rome) usually a coupla times a year. I envy your proximity to the san siro, but you certainly seem to look at this issue thru a very pro-ronaldo perspective (don't blame ya, we all did that at some point in time). I suspect that you are a bigger fan of Ronaldo, than Inter or Milan... So my opinion has been formed by living and breathing this club during those times and talking to many fellow interisti.

Ronaldo's coming late from holidays is legendary - he makes adriano look professional! Moratti made a lot of poor decisions concerning the bucktooth (forgiving his carnival delays specially), but backing the coach (Cuper) over the player (Bucktooth) was probably one of his best decisions. He may be the greatest striker of this generation, but he is also a greedy selfish dickhead. I don't care whether he scores on sunday or not, what is more important is that the fans show him how much he is "welcome" at the San Siro. He wanted to come back to Inter, he can dream as much as he wants.

Great player, no doubt. But as a professional, I have ZERO respect for him. He will remain in the record books till someone breaks those records, but players like Zanetti (or Maldini, depending on which side of Milan you look at it) will always remain in the hearts. That for me as a fan, is much more important.

So, what inside info have you got on how well Ronaldo is getting on with his good pal Seedorf?? Wink

So you don't look at it with the bias of a club fan who feels aggrieved that he left? I can understand fans being annoyed about him leaving, plenty of my friends still are, but not with the hatred you seem to have. You are not special in paying a players wages, even through injury etc, every club does that but you seem to cling to that as your reason to be annoyed, hence calling him an ingrate etc. In reality he chose a bigger and better club that he had an opportunity to join and that is probably what annoys you. I'm afraid that players don't owe their lives to you or any other fans. It is a job, and better job opportunities come around. Of course it is good if loyalty is shown, but you got money for him and cuper didn't want him. If he was always on long holidays etc then surely you would want to get rid of him. How quickly you changed away from partying when I pointed out he was married Wink. Unfortunately your logic doesn't hold up. He was injured so not able to play so how can he be always missing on long holidays when he is not expected to play, or even train? Inter never looked like doing much at that time as both Milan and Juve were strong and Real had a great team (probably the best in Europe), so he wanted to move. Problems with Cuper made a very good reason not to stay. Ever wondered how come you have so many Argentian players?

As for the seedorf shagging ronaldo's wife story, another rumour that you are basing your knowledge on? Demonstrates the extent of your facts previously. Not your fault, it's just what you get on fan sites, and you choose the information that you would like to believe. The rumour was that seedorf was shagging ronaldo's wife so he was swapped with Milan for some rubbish player (coco or something). If that was the case and ronaldo had so much power why didn't they sell seedorf at least out of the same city? Bit stupid to leave him in Milan. Ronaldo could have got rid of his wife as well, but he took her to spain. Of course he had marriage problems as most people do and did divorce, but I'm pretty sure that shagging seedorf was not part of the divorce proceedings Wink. If all this happened and ronaldo has a problem with seedorf then why would ronaldo accept to go to Milan? Especially with the position that Milan are in the league? I am sure a player like him would have had many opportunities, and he chose Milan to go to. From the other side if Ronaldo was responsible for getting rid fo seedorf, then how come seedorf doesn't seem to have a problem with him? Seedorf ahs nto said he wnats to leave or anything. The fact is that Inter swapped seedorf because they didn't rate him (he has always been underappreciated wherever he has been including Milan).

One thing that is clear is that fan sites are notorious for making up rumours especially against players they hate, and these rumours spread because other fans who don't know better like to believe them are truth. Being a fan of 20 years means that you are more likely to be influenced by this crap and means that you are not very objective. It also means that you cannot see easily the difference between truth and rumour.

Anyway well done to Inter for winning, as I thought they would. And well done to ronaldo for shutting up the moronic Inter fans.

Ronaldo is not full of hate and for this I respect him. The Inter fans such as yourself seemt to be full of hate, and for that I feel sorry for you.
