Oliver Kahn and Lucio have been charged by UEFA for “improper conduct” during a doping test and could be suspended for the quarter-final against Milan.
The official website states that the two players “were found to have breached basic rules of good conduct” in a post-match doping control after the second leg victory over Real Madrid in Munich last week.
Bayern won that game 2-1, progressing to the next phase of the competition on the away goals rule, 4-4 on aggregate.
The German club is set to face Milan in the quarter-finals on April 3 and 11, but the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body will give its verdict on March 22.
It is possible both goalkeeper Kahn and Brazilian defender Lucio – who scored in that game – will be suspended.
Bayern will already be without Mark Van Bommel, who was handed a one-match ban for using an offensive gesture towards the Real Madrid fans in the Bernabeu.

Honestly, I was responding to this gem by Effenberg, who gives conspiracy theorists a bad name:
First they get unrelegated and put back in the CL. And now one of our key players - whose job would've been to help contain Kaka - is suspended for nonsense.
