Hitzfeld stays on at Bayern

Ottmar Hitzfeld has signed a contract for another year at Bayern Munich, contrary to his previous repeated denials that he would stay on longer than this year.

Doubtful - not now that there is so much money in the game

Bayern have the money (still one of the richest European clubs), and they want to build a top class team for and with Hitzfeld, so why not?

They changed their strategy, especially their transfer policy, they will be a force to reckon with under Hitzfeld, who is one of the very best coaches in the game.
