Cristiano Ronaldo is on the verge of signing a mega deal at Man Utd, he won't be going anywhere for the next three years.

Lampard and Terry were "on the verge" of signing new deals for a long time. As was Henry.

Means nothing till he signs IMO. I admit it's just paper hype right now, but judging by C. Ronaldo's comments I'm not discounting anything yet.

I think you will be able to sign C Ronaldo from the money Inter give you for Messi

think about it dinho was great last season, has been poor this season, and that's what 100 million might have got you last season.

what makes people think that someone like kaka who has been average with glimpses of brilliance this season is worth it (especially "swimming in shit"). Kaka will his talent is still on the periphery of many games, totti is better.

and who says cronaldo might not revert back to his normal form of last season, after having the best season he'll ever have.

The only way i can see Fergie letting Ronaldo go to Barca is if, someone was to go in the opposite direction whether that be Ronaldinho Eto Deco Messi or Xavi for example.

Even though in the last two seasons Barca have been fabulous, they are currently on the decline and they will certainly need to do something about that, whereas Man Utd should they win the league and with the possibility of Champions League, why would Ronaldo want to leave just now... ?

He says he wants to play in Spain but at the moment Real are crap, and Barca are in decline.

I would recommend Barcelona selling him for that amount. We'd be able to buy C. Ronaldo, Alves and Chivu.

no thats not what i said. if RONALDO wants to go then there is little choice. and if madrid(or barca) is the club they will tell him to go public and do whatever he can to make man utd know he wants to go so the price goes down. but this only works if the player himself wants to leave otherwise there is no point in doing it.i dont belive ronaldo will leave this season since he feels he still owes something but next season im very sure he will leave.

why? because you said so. the players now have alot of power. if ronaldo wants to leave and i mean really leave then man utd will be forced to sell him. there is no point in keeping players that wants to leave and everybody knows that. as strong as you fergie to be he too will be get to a point where he wants ronaldo to leave if ronaldo goes and tells him he wants to really leave.

Real Madrid are a big club, whats the BS "As you think" We're one of the biggest clubs in europe, winning the CL really helps you know. But are we the biggest, quite frankly no.

Re: Ronaldo anything can happen in the deal, there's been no indication of our motives from Pedja or Calderon who don't waste time opening their mouths.

We have more important needs in the team before a big money move for a winger.
As far as money goes i doubt we will pay 50M pounds or euro's, regardless. We can easily buy 2-3 quality players with that sum.

First season: We were top for the whole season till the last month were the galactico meltdown took place.

The other 2 years and this year yes. It will be 4 years of blanco this year and rightfully so we will be a laughing stock. But just like Arsenal were in transition so are we... just that ours means spending milions..

Newcastle are just shit. We've played v v well in some games this season, just not on a consistent basis.
