It was only rejected because they weren't willing to make improvements to the nearby tube station though, IMO if LEvy wants it, they could get the plans pushed through in a few months and have it finished within two seasons
We'll see then won't we. IF that happens then they'll have a chance.
Personally i think they'd be better off planning for the long term future by building a brand new stadium that they can keep extending. That's if 50k is be WHL's limit, could they extend further if they wanted to go to 60k?

You would think they'd be queuing up, it might have something to with the outsides perception of Newcastle - alot of people seem to think it's still a poor dirty crime-ridden little industrial town where people wander the streets in flat caps with whippets.
