considering you've lost your golden boy, 8th ?
seriously, they'd obviously be competing for a champions league place amongst Liverpool , Man Utd and Arsenal

Last season they would fight for the second place. This season I don´t think they would finish ahead of Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool.

2nd or 3rd IMO.
Chelsea - are better.
bayern would be challenging Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal for the other spots - could finish anywhere from 2nd to 5th but think they'd probably come third or second

Hard to say really, because Bayern have lost Ballack, and now look like they will lose Hargreaves...
currently i'd say behind 3rd or 4th.
I think were the question where would Bremen finish, I'd say 2nd or 3rd ..!

bremen and bayern, i think both with big chances to get into the top 4
but your right, i rate bremen this year higher than munich, bremens midfield is really impressive, and there style of playing football is awesome
with klose in this form he is better than any striker in the bundesliga

from similat thread on lyonThe-Frank-Tavern wrote:this analysis is impossible, eg imho lyon would struggle in the epl, but that doens´t reflect how good or not they are but that the players they have are geared towards the french league and style of play not the english league and style.
pierre the french league is weaker, you only have to look at their performances in europe over a number of years to see that, but the gap isn´t huge, but equally most english clubs would struggle to adapt to the french league. its the same with the german q too bayern would do better in the epl than lyon imho cos the syles are closer but would still fall outside top 4, but english sides would perform worse in germany than england, again the german league is currently weaker but not by a huge amount

With EPL TV money going into Bayerns coffers, they would be spending big time. 1st or 2nd is a realistic target.

The top teams in the Bundesliga are very competitive.
The problem is going lower down the league. The teams arent BAD, just doubtful that they'd be as competitive as the lower teams in the Prem.
Boro are a good example of this- UEFA cup finalists, came 13 th in Prem. This wouldnt happen in the Bundesliga. Not enough money to buy quality players.
Germany having a population of 80 mill (almost double that of England) helps when it comes to youth players, fans, general numbers on all counts; offsets the "money" issue to a degree;
but more trophies won by EPL sides through history prove, factually, that the EPL is a stronger league than the Bundesliga. Period (nicking Blut's phrase ending)

The Bundesliga has only existed since 1963. The English first division is over a hundred years old.
I don't think we've done too badly in such a short space of time. It's not exactly been 40 years of hurt for us.

hmm perhaps 4th i think. i still dont rate them above chelsea, liverpool or united. Whereas they would challenge Arsenal who's squad is weakening. and they are better than the scum in 5th!
