Well what do you expect your first team to be this season?

    Will Scweine be a starter?

Will Karimi get much play time?

he is very important for the team, and very good player too, last year the first half of the season he was the best midfielder

he can play as an holding midfielder or central defender

Deisler and ISMAEL injured, both will come back in 2007, so at the moment Demichelis with very good chances to be a starter

Don't worry Bayern fans, your boys weren't even trying. They basically wanted to avoid injuries and the match was even more quiet and uncompetitive than a training session.

Even if that's true, why do they have matches like these at all then? Call me old school, but if you play for your club or country, you should always try to give your best, no matter how 'unimportant' the match is.

Getting slaughtered like that is embarassing, if you don't try to fight back at least.

Anyway, Bayern need another class midfielder for the OM, just like HSV definitely need a class striker (and defender). Otherwise they'll have a very tough time in the CL. And it will be even worse if they are actually that stupid to sell Hargreaves (they aren't), no, they'd be insane to do that.

Yeah usually Gamper is a bit more competitive, maybe Bayern shouldn't have agreed to play since their season is already underway. For us this is sort of the traditional curtain raiser for the club's new season, where we present the squad to the public, etc. so we usually try to get high quality opposition. We had Milan 2 years ago, Juve last year, and you guys this year.

Hargreaves is calling a Press Conference to publically say he wants to leave, according to reports in the Media today.

Surely Bayern should just cut their losses. Whats the point of holding onto a player who is reluctant to play for you? Sell now, and replace him with the money you recieve...Bayern is still a massive pulling club, so shouldnt be hard to lure someone decent..

mate what i don´t understand is why its taken him this long to make a bid, he should have done this last summer, why always go chasing england internationals in a WC year, he´d have got him easily this time last year and you were in desperate need of him then
