I am a certified Lampard hater but the lack of creativity wasn't entirely his fault:

Lennon on the left - would be on the right if Lampard wasn't playing therefore it's Lampard's/McClaren's fault. Gerrard on the right - would be in the middle if Lampard wasn't playing therefore it's Lampard's/McClaren's fault.

Grgher at LB and P.Neville at RB - totally Maclaren fault.

2/4 players playing out of position because of Lampard therefore 50:50 blame goes to McClaren.
However, McClaren chooses Lampard therefore he should take half of his blame (well actually all his blame for picking him, but Frank 'the hypnotist' Lampard has fooled many into thinking he can play in a 2 man midfield without a target man). Therefore overall I give that 75% blame to McClaren and 25% Lampard.

110% the point I was making is the very way you have summed up how England should play. It is negative and leads nowhere in our transtion game we have to be solid and tight. but for players to create they have to practice day in and day out in match games to create these chances only forward looking attractive football builds the players mind set to try and invent new plays on a everyday basis.

The FA is in Charge....Leaving it up to the Manager is #@$ Crazy no one runs a successfull company or cooperation without having fixed rules that are agreed upon for the employers to follow. Same with Football it is a big entertainment business run by FA losers.......Wink

The manager brought in follows the a plan (concept) and with his style puts the plan into action...........I'm just saying there is no plan and no leaders at the top.....Hence 40 plus years of fuddy daddy irresponsible do nothing shitheads....... Cool
