I fail to see why Ronaldinho would move. Where else could he skip training whenever he fancies and get away with it?

He might, but it will require very silly money and he is at a team that suits his style of play. It seems clear that his brother is keeping all options open to maximise his negotiating position. None of us have any real idea what will happen, so it is futile to specualte. All we know for sure is that wherever Ronaldinho ends up next season or the one after he will have a better deal than he has now. He and Barca are having an off season, but they will remain competetive. Ronaldinho knows that even if Barca win nothing this year they will be in with a shout of winning a lot next season. It would require quite a lot to get for both financial and footballing reasons. His wages will be high. Barca would have to be paid and he would have to believe that Milan would play his type of football. Then thhere is the question of co-existence. Can all the egos be accommodated? This is different from international football as they would have to co-exist for the whole season year in year out and not just a few times per year. It is far from the certainty some people think that he will leave Barca.
