Where Sevillas's player cows in a past life? All they want to seem to do is eat the grass.

Wow, I really thought Benfica would be able to go through against them. It's 3-0 in Spain though, so slightly less impressive than Osasuna.

He's been good too, but I'm really enjoying Keane making those runs down the left. It's keeping Dani Alves more than a little busy.

True, but Espanyol are better defensively -- I don't see Benfica scoring 4 on them even at the Stadium of Light.

His first touch has been poor and I haven't seen him beat the right back once yet, all he needs is that once though

Lol, seems like Benfica can score 2 goals faster than you can type "espanyol are better defensively". As it stands they only need 1 in the Stadium of light.
What a great set of games in the UEFA today.

Re: UEFA Cup Q/F [1st leg] thread
69' Yowzer! Not to be outdone, Bremen try to score an own goal of their own. Wome tries to head the ball back to his keeper but gets far too much power on it. As the ball is heading past the hapless Wiese and into the net Wome, who hadn't stopped running, shows a remarkable burst of pace and recovers to swipe the ball off the line at the last nanosecond.
73' Wome is unlucky not to score at the other end - just as he was lucky not to score at his own end. Diego wins a somwewhat dubious freekick in a xcrenterl position 25 yards out and Wome thrashes a daisy-clipper through the wall and into the thorax of Waterman who, after gathering the ball at the second attempt sits immobile on the floor in a state of oxygen-deprived confusion.

Steinsson (AZ) got a yellow for heading the ball. ref thought it was a handball. he also thought it was his second yellow, showing a red too. After some deliberations, he made up for his 2nd mistake and explained the captains it wasn't a red card...
