Pretty dissapointed bout the result...missed King enormously...especially dealing with Aerial threat from Bolton...

Had alot of possession...but lacked the cutting edge. I thought Berby was ok, had nice touches and WILL come good, fropm what ive seen in pre-season, and even today. I was more dissapointed with Defoe, not enough movement...but we did lacked that final ball...

Anyways, I aint disspondent....first game against a team that ALWAYS beats us at the Reebok...and in away relief that we got this fixture over and done with and I am still optimistic with regards to how season will pan out.

First game never tells you how the season goes.....we had alot of the ball, but I think Credits due to Bolton for the way they pressed us in around there penalty box, basically they defended superbly...

Basically I thought we said to SPurs in the second half "We're two-nil up, we don't need to attack, do what you want". Spurs passed it about, we hit on the counter.

    Never scared.

What do you think about the Newcastle result today Kimbo? I managed to watch most of the game, the team played quite well although the weather made it hard. Parker, Carr, N'Zogbia and Duff had good games.

Very good result, it was always going to be tough with the conditions, i think they suited Wigan more than us. I'm not happy with the ZOG being kept as a super sub, we need to find some way of fitting him in the team. Have you seen Paul Jewells rant yet? It's hilarious. Very Happy

Haha yeah I read it and was well amused by it. Complaining about 3 mins injury time after a whole 2 goals AND 2 substitutions, what is this guy on?
