and have overtaken Bremen this weekend to land second place

No mentioning of the "M-Word" just yet. But really, what are we to do if Schalke and Bremen are basically throwing away the points?

Some incredible run-ins this year, after the frankly ridiculous end to the Eredivisie, we could see similar events here (as well as in Spain).

Also, the Premiership has had the most interesting tussle for some time (although it looks wrapped up now). Of the major leagues, only one has been a bore in terms of the title winners, such a shame Serie A couldn't offer fans the same excitement this season, and, instead, decided its winner last year in the Kangaroo Courts.

The CL will look barren next season, no Juve and no Bayern!

01/02 season was better and even more exciting. Dortmund, Leverkusen and Bayern were top quality sides. Today Schalke, Stuttgart and Bremen aren´t that good.

Frings was by far the best defensive midfielder at the WC and definitely one of the best in the world over the last year. Why does he want to leave?

No, Diego will at least stay one more season. But we need another midfielder, who can keep a few defenders busy making it a bit easier for Diego.

Carlos Alberto is still the same idiot. He thinks that he is the new Maradona, but he can´t play well and consistently. Fluminense is having another awful season.

Sheva, how good is Renato Augusto? Is he really that good?

And what do you think of Lucas? I saw him a couple of times and he was outstanding, rumours are linking him with Juve.

Renato Augusto is good. Lucas is excelent, last year he won the brazilian league golden ball. Brazilian league level isn´t the same of a few years ago, but the Lucas is just 19 yo. Pato and Lucas are by far the best young players playing here right now.

I´m sure he would and I´m also sure that Fluminense and Corinthians would love to see him leaving. He is talented, if he keeps his focus on footbal he would be a good signing for Bremen.

Ah, very good. Last summer he didn´t want to leave Brazil because of his girlfriend; he wanted to merry her first as far as I know. So maybe he will come to Bremen this summer then, after all we have a certain tradition in buying "problem players" and make them shine again.
