    Congrats Stuttgart

    and Anglo

what were the odds of the Swabians lifting the Saladbowl Question

and they could still get the Double Very Happy

with a fraction of the budget of Bayern or Bremen and some would say less talent on the pitch as well

Veh turned out to be a revelation (all he needed was time, that most club presidents don't give)

Heldt, the new commercial manager , forms a perfect tandem with him as well

a young German spine (Gomez, Kedhira, Hildebrand, Hilbert, Hitz, Tasci) and two excellent Mexicans + a Portuguese captain did the rest

    WELL DONE

now let's hope the pressure next season will not become too strong

then again, Stuttgart managed 8 consecutive wins towards the end of the season when Bremen and Schalke choked game after game; maybe VFB have enough steel; we'll see

please, don't start spending your CL money on FOREIGN names now; like you did post-Magath, or like Werder seem to do these days

    @ anglo

you sound like a good girl

feel free to talk EVEN POSHER

chrissi and I temporarily agreed on a ceasefire for your affection when Prince William became single again

we two know about the pulling power of a Hanoverarian Prince vis-a-vis a Hanoverarian Anglophile

if the PRINZ hears your YouToube tape though, he'll think he's not sufficiently posh enough for you and leave the field to me and chrissi

    so thanks

by the way, if you want to make Englanders fall in the love with you, try to show a bit of ANKLE next time

tends to drive them completely nuts and is more effective than wearing a school-boy uniform Very Happy

It's duly noted and I will flash a bit of my chalky-white leg next time. Promised. Wink Anyway, thank you, both on my behalf and on behalf of the team. <Ale> (water)

How good has Hitzlsperger been this season? He always looked like a talented player in England but it is difficult to keep track of how he has got on in Germany.
Is it fair to say he is on the fringes of the national team? Does he look like becoming a regular starter for Germany?

Fantastic goal he scored at the weekend, one of the best volleys I have seen for a long time.

Chrissi, haven't you noticed how unhappy he is with us? Haven't you heard and seen his desperate cries for some other club to relieve him of the pressure to go into next season as defending champion? I hope your scouts still have the address of that Hanovarian hotel... But be quick before Bayern get there first.
