I hate the term "UEFA Family." Its just the sponsors really, so the game atmosphere is not what it used to be in the old days where everyone was there and had genuine passion for the game. I'm sure the Milan and Liverpool fans will still do their bit though.

Its a disgrace if there are not any screens outside the stadium, where is everyone watching the game tonight?

1) The Mancs lose to Milan again:

In 2005 it was Milan who put United out of the champions league, and although it came at a later stage this season it is Milan who have put them out again

2) The return of Harry Kewell:

Once again Harry makes it back for the final of the european cup, after spending most of the season out in 2005, Kewell made it to the starting line up in Isatnbul only to limp off injured in the first half, He's been out most of this season as well, but Kewell could well start tonight if Zenden isn't completely fit

3) Mancs lose in a boring FA cup final again:

Remember the 2005 FA cup final? it wasn't one to remember really, but 3 days before Istanbul it was United V Arsenal at Cardiff, the game was a snooze fest and Arsenal won on penalties, it was very similar 3 days ago although Chelsea managed to sneak the win in normal time

4) Liverpool Vs Chelsea, semi final AGAIN:

De ja vu kicked in as Liverpool met Chelsea again in a champions league semi final, once more Mourinho was feeling confident after the first leg and once more the Anfield atmosphere helped Liverpool through a nervous night at Anfield

5) Liverpool will wear Red:

Liverpool have won all 5 European cups wearing red and after fears of Milan wearing their red and black strip meaning Liverpool couldn't wear their red kit, it was decided that Liverpool, tonight, will once again wear their famous red strip

6) Liverpool Vs Milan, again:

The biggest omen of the lot, a repeat final of the greatest game in European football, Can't see it going to pens after a 3-3 draw but no doubt it will be a great game of football

Caught a quite funny joke on Sky Text about the alleged chip that 'pool fans have on their shoulders.

Apparently they've gathered around the Acropolis and sung at it:

they have both been making all the right noises and they both view rafa as some sort of untouchable god so Im thinking he will be able to have whatever he wants

Yeah they definately believe the stadium must be between 70-80 thousand seats, which is very encouraging, also finally realise being the most successful club in the UK and also one of the most successful in Europe we really should be marketed as such.

The other noises which were fabulous, was that he was prepared to spend whatever it takes to bring the players Benitez identifys to the club.

As football has become more commercial so must Liverpool in order to compete and become the attractive proposition they really should be.

If Liverpool were to lose tonight , would reaching next seasons final be top of the agenda .. or get into a Premiership title race .. or both ?

The title is our main objective, however Europe is very special to us Liverpool fans.
