Will the repeat be better than that final last year which was pretty dull to be honest

Pretty pointless poll anyway since no one knows what the final will be like this year.

No.
It will be like so many matches before it. Hyped beyond belief because of what happened in their previous meeting (in this case the 05 final). Consequently, both teams will desperate to not concede as many goals as last time, with the game likely to finish 1-0.
This was one of my arguments as to why having the same final twice in 3 seasons was not necessarily a good thing (excluding Pool and Milan fans of course)

it will be great because last year was a loss loss situation for me since two of my friends supported arsenal and barca. so that will give it a huge lift. also milan should have a alot of hunger but i hope they will play the same way as they did in the last final because if they dont there will be little entertainment.

Of course. Barça are rubbish and play boring defensive/negative football. And Arsenal are also a counter attacking defensive team. It will definately be better as Liverpool play fantastic offensive footie, similar to Brazil in their good days.

Luis only thought it was dull because I didn't have Liverp0-0l in it.
I thought it was quite an interesting final as finals go

Yeah it had a sending off , 10 men scored , Barca come back to score 2 in the end inspired by the legendary Henrik Larsson , what more you want.

To be honest, I expected more from the two 'best attacking teams in the world.' The football wasn't exactly excellent, but it definitely wasn't a poor game. This years final will be better, but that's because I support Liverpool.

Didn't help that we had our keeper sent off after quater of an hour. Before that we'd played pretty well

you played pretty well afterwards. You had at least 3 big chances to win it in the second half.

Henry was clean through one time, and really should have finished it off.BoBo Vieri wrote:Tweedle wrote:Didn't help that we had our keeper sent off after quater of an hour. Before that we'd played pretty well

It's a final. It was the first time there for both managers and the majority of players. There's bound to be some nervousness and a bit of cautiousness.
Even as a neutral I would have felt that was a good final. In the 2nd half when we finally took off van Bommel (and brought on Iniesta) our play was much more fluid and in patches was even better than against Milan in the semis. Arsenal created quite a few chances too, but a lot of the time Henry just didn't have the support because of Pires going off for Almunia.

Plus, the 4 semi final matches produced just 2 goals, so it was never going to be a goal fest.

Last years final was pretty exciting could have been awesome had the keeper not been sent off, but it still will probably have more chances than this final easily...but then again you dont kno cuz Milan still want revenge for 05 so they might want to put Liverpool to the sword... I just think Benitez is a coward seriously I cant remember a game where they just through caution to the wind, I mean I aint tryna be all on a high horse, but if your telling me the biggest risk of the year was starting 2 up front against Chelsea....

I don't understand...would Arsenal fans prefer being 1-0 down?

Oh ok. Interesting because I think scoring would have calmed us down a lot, and we would have played much more solidly.

that's what I've always maintained as well. It seems the Barcelona supporters all wanted the goal, and it seems everyone else also. So how did it favour Barça then?

if arsenal fans won 1-0, do u really think theyd still be complaining about the ref (even a year on)
