Players of Indian origin

In light of so many people here of Indian origin, thought it might be a good idea for a thread to discuss Indian players and players of Indian origin.

The obvious ones are Vikas Dhoorasoo and Micheal Chopra, both of whom are ineligible to play for India... some interest groups started a project to get the PIOs back to play for India, and have had some success.... many have taken the PIO card (which soon might be converted to dual citizenship) and some have even started to play for Indian clubs... here is the list I could dig up:

I think all the Dutch Indians are orginally from Surinam? Not sure about that, but we shipped them from India/Pakistan etc to Surinam, so if you look it like that then they are from India yes.

Vikash Dhorassoo is Maurician (Indian like).

Zesh Rehman
Date of Birth: 14 October 1983

I think Zesh Rehman has an Indian heritage, although I am not 100% According to lots of media groups Zesh is a bright light in getting young Asians playing football in England.

Zesh is pakistani... and he has already decided to play for Pakistan instead of trying for the English team (whatever little chance). Happy for Pakistani football, which is leagues behind even India's...

Tho that might not be true anymore, as India have dropped from 117 to 167 in FIFA rankings in just a year
