the German-Italian duo have jointly led Salzburg to Austrian League glory

    Congrats Loddar <Ale>

now please pack your bags and get on the next plane to the Vaterland

we need you and your expertise

Frankfurt or Berlin would be excellent options

otherwise, why not lead Gladbach, your old club, back into the 1. League ?!

I would also like to see Lothar at HSV; Stevens has done his job well but really he seems to be too distracted by his wife's illness

Alle Macht dem Loddar Biggrin <Ale>

How competitive is the Austrian League? Lothar would welcome a return to Germany though after his Hungarian adventure as well.

Isn't Alexander Zickler the leaidng scorer in Austria. Yikes

Hey, hey now. Don't knock Zickler. Great player, but too injury-prone. He deserves a good run before he ends his career.

The MLS is better than the Austrian League. Perhaps Salzburg is a little bit better than any team from the MLS, but after that it's MLS all the way. <Ale>

The MLS is in a huge growth period and with the new players moving across I can only see the demand and popularity improving over time as well.

How is Juan Pablo Angel doing over in America?

I don't think Angel's played yet. I could be wrong. Once La Liga season's over, I'll follow MLS more closely. Yes, MLS is getting more and more competitive every year.

It's definitely on par at the very least with leagues like Austria's, Denmark's Greece's, Sweden's, Norway's etc.

The MLS needs to improve a bit to be on Belgium's league level or Scotland's. Belgium's and Scotland's top 2 teams are much better than the top MLS, but after that the MLS can hold its own against the rest of their teams. It's the very top 2 from Belgium and Scotland that make them better than MLS so far. The MLS will catch them soon though. <Ale>
