Watching the game in Liverpool which should be intrigueing what with them hating both utd and Chelsea Twisted Evil

I personally think Chelsea may win it - Utd seem to have lost a bit of focus, I know this is a result of them playing their B squad but sometimes its difficult to then go back to playing the A team and winning.

Want utd to win it though

A very close encounter I think, they will possibly cancel each other out. I think penalties will decide it.

Its a shame that neither side will be full strength for the game, quite a lot of absentees from both sides.

Can't base it on form at all. Both sides have taken the foot off the gas since the Semi final second legs.

There defence could be weak, however we're probably going to have to play Smith. Erm

2-1 to Chelsea in extra time.

I hope there is a big game left in us mate, not totally confident though. We've looked knackered the last 3 games (won't include the Chelsea reserve game).

Btw, much as you dislike Chelsea, they are better than Arsenal. ok

They are 330mil more tham Arsenal - who i agree are not as good when it comes to results and as bad as it gets when it comes to scoring - but they play ALMOST as pretty as us, in a different way/style!

I think, as the underdogs - we can turn them over - JM has been bad mouthing Ronaldo and taking the piss generally - particulaly with penalty/rule Cr@p...i think he will get his come uppance! Wink

Agreed, it was poor- but WE were a YOUNG team and they won despite being outplayed by us.
In fact THEY are where we were back then - a YOUNG team that cant score.

By the sounds of things our team will be -

    ------------------ van der Sar

    Brown ---- Ferdinand ---- Vidic ---- Evra

    ------------ Fletcher ------- Carrick

    --- Ronaldo ------- Scholes ------- Giggs

    --------------------- Rooney

Obviously not ideal as Rooney and Scholes are out of position, however its probably a better team than one with Smith playing.

I'd expect Rooney to get some change out of Boulah if he plays as well.

I guess the subs wil be: Kuszczak, O'Shea, Richardson, Smith, Solskjaer.

But i think Heinze will play, he normally plays well against Chelsea/Drogba.

Chelsea are dangerous at freekicks and corners, Heinze > Evra at heading.
