who deserves this accolade for this season's UEFA CUP?

can it really be a goalkeeper? It is hard to look beyond Palop.

He scored the goal that prevented the eventual winners from crashing out against Shakhtar in injury time (!).

He was magnificent against Espanyol the other day with some fantastic saves (one from Riera perhaps deserving of the term "Save of the Season" and stopped 3 penalties in the shoot out.

What other players and teams stood out and deserve to be remembered.

Pandiani was top scorer. Gorka also deserves a mention if only for the fact that he isn't even Espanyol's first choice keeper.

Raul Garcia clearly deserves a mention as well for just being an amazing footballer Ale
