both talked negative about this transfer

    oliver bierhoff talked:

for me is toni not into the top10 strikers/players (dont know what he menas exactly), he is a big name but not that great like a kaka, c.ronaldo, ronaldinho, (btw i think we cannot compare tonni to this players, but bierhoff is a little bit right, toni proved nothing on internationl level, he must now show his class),

hargraeves: bayern lost a better striker with PIZARRO, he means toni is not that good

my opinion on bierhoff, he is right, this 3 players named are outstanding, clubs can be happy do have this guys into there squad

on hargreaves i think its 50/50, every coach says Pizarro had the potenzial to be a world class striker, but he never showed us this for many times, this guy is to inconsistent,

    So...

51 goals in 80 games for Palermo
50 goals in 78 games for Fiorentina
12 goals in 27 games for Italy.

Yet he isn't a top 10 striker or proven Laughing Laughing Laughing

Bierhoff is a wanker, and knows nothing...end of story.

Even though Pizarro is now a Chelsea player, I have to say Toni is defo better. Toni is not a "flair" player like the ones named, but he does his job extremely well. For my money he is one of the best in the world at being a target man/holding up the ball and one of the few players who can play up front on his own effectively (although with the plethora of strikers Bayern have I doubt this option will be used much). He is a good finisher and has good technique, if you use him well I see no reason why he won't be an excellent acquisition. He hasn't been *amazing* on the international stage, but has been good. Good enough that he started the WC final ahead of all the other Italians.

Only problem: he can't take penalties to save his life, very unusual for someone playing in Germany.

Don't worry, we have enough Germans on the team plus Makaay. Laughing

    ok

He is comparing with creative midfielders!!! Someone should tell Bierhoff its ToNI who is joining Bayern, not ToTTI. Pedrhaps Beirhoff doesn't watch Serie A anymore, its difficult to watch on TV when you are used to watching the game live at the San Siro FROM THE BENCH Wink

Toni is far better and more complete a striker than Bierhoff ever was....

If Bierhoff meant Toni isn't a top 10 striker(not player), then he definately needs to have his head checked.

Toni is proven in Serie A, his international record is pretty good and i firmly believe that with his characteristics he would make it in any of the big leagues. Toni ain't just a big and strong box finisher. He is also quite fast for his size and has good technique. Plus he can unleash powerful shots with both legs, so he ain't a limited box player at all.

Bayern got a hell of a player, infact if i had to chose a striker for Milan this season he would have been my first choice.

Actually, there's another Italian forward i really like, one who isn't even at the team right now, but is probably more gifted than any of the others.

I hope this year he finally finds his way... Rolling Eyes

I remember that goal, it was so amazing, the way he controlled the pass...

Pity his attitude is so screwed up, there is no mistaking the talent!

29 million euros i think. And then Real got him for 5.5, cause his contract was expiring the next summer and he wasn't renewing unless he got wage parity with Totti.

I would be very surprised if an Italian club doesn't move for him this summer, as he is definately not staying in Real. I thought Inter was really close to him, but with Suazo pretty much a done deal i can't see them going for another striker.

IMO Galliani would be a fool if he doesn't make a bid. Real just wanna get rid of the notorious troublemaker, so he would cost way less than what he truly worths. Get him Milan!! Razz

We already have Ibra and Adriano, we just can't handle another primadonna!!!

Even tho there are no rumours, I have a feeling that he will end up at Juve!
