    Last time when Den Haag got promoted to De Eredivisie, youlost the first match that season too (and went on with a great unbeaten run), didn't you?

    Anyway wouldn't be that much bothered all other teams will loose plenty of points.

    Our team had not a very good pre season! The team has to gel in a bit more. It is always difficult when you relegated after a terrible season but the next season you are suddenly the top favourites.

    First, You have to play different football in the Eerste Divisie than in the Eredivisie. It is more fight football than tactic football. So a bit more English football...

    Second, last years confidence was extremely low while now you HAVE to win every game.... It needs a mental change in the heads of the players...

    Third, last year Den Haag played great against the top teams but when we had to make the game we couldn't bring enough... This year we have to MAKE every game!

    To speak with Van Gaal's words... I hope Vloet can manage all these problems.... On the one hand, he is a better coach for Den Haag than Adelaar (the sissy) because he is a harder coach! But on the other hand, he has a huge task to do...!

    Vloet is a very decent coach, he isn't the best tacticly but he is realistic and his man managment is very good.

    But the most important thing for ADO is that he will re-develope a whole lot of things at ADO. Everything will just get more professional and he is such a hard worker. You can accuse him of lots of things but he will be one of the latest to leave everyday from ADO headquarters.

    Sparta lost 2-1 against a Portugese Uefa Cup side, from some Spartans who were there they say a 2-2 would have been more deserving so this might signal a better season start than last year (can't get much worse)
