The psv fans never fill the away stands though.
Don't know haven't checked their forums yet, but they have a habbit of saying in their armchairs.

Hope we get a good ref, and maybe even more important a good linesmen.

Would be wise if we start a media offensive with clips proving Makaay gets 2-3 Cr@p offside calls against him each match. If it wasn't for the linesmen's bad calls we would have been 6 points clear

Feyenoord as usual offer space for 1600 away fans. PSV, knowing they don't have that kind of support, have arranged busses for ONLY 960 awayfans. They still have NOT managed to sell all away tickets despite them being very cheap.

    PATHETIC!

half of the midtable clubs manage to fill the away end.

    BUNCH OF PLASTICS!

The Feyenoord - PSV match thread on the same forum is funny too. Absolutely clueless about tactics those Brababwe pig farmers.

More than half of them think the best tactic v Feyenoord's 4-2-3-1 is playing 3 at the back. 3 at the back is a system you play v 2 strikers not v 1. V 1 striker you play 4 at the back because both CD's should be able to handle the lone striker, 1 marking, 1 giving cover. Which means both your fullbacks can go forward/ strengthen midfield. 3 at the back v 1 striker means you lack a man on midifeld. Basics.

Sparta's Nourdin Boukhari has been dropped by Morocco, so another cunning Dutch plan bites the dust as Sparta will now have to play him back into form or off-load him cheaply. Looked pretty miserable in both matches I saw him in Rotterdam. Anyway he gets his wish to stay behind, but not in the way he would have liked.

Meanwhile Roda fans will be happy as Sekou Cisse, their only possible loss to the ACN has not made the final squad of Ivory Coast.

God, how childish. Just because we get a new stadium. Amsterdam wants a new one as well...and its build outside Amsterdam Very Happy

The Arena is only 11 years old...

    sad wankers.

Ajax know nothing about it & claim it's bullshit. They must be even scared more shitless now (if that's possible). Without events Ajax/Arena goes bankcrupt.

Anyway good reason to make sure the new Kuip is 100,000 capacity.

Funny thing that they want to build it in Almere...there live more people from Amsterdam there then in Amsterdam self (not that the ArenA is actually in Amsterdam)

But I wonder if it it's going to be a new Ajax stadium..or a new national stadium?

Amsterdam is full of pussies anyway, only capital in the world that didnt got a final for an international football tourny!

Anyway..if they want to play this game let's have them!

Amsterdam has hosted the Olympics you know and re-bidding. Also they want to host the Champions League Final soon. When Netherlands get the WC ever, Amsterdam will host the final .. I don't blame Rotterdam having the 2000 Euros Final, I and many would say that its a fine Stadia. What the board should do now is just rename the ArenA to “Rinus Michels Stadion” been overdue. That’s what I’m calling it whether they like it or not.

Ajax has not spoken about this new proposal from what I know, knowing the fat capitalist in charge they would be keen to go for it, being stupid as they are. There’s more problems to sort out.

I know..and then they say they need more seats...the stadium is always half empty!!

If they had any balls they admit the ArenA was a complete failure, partly it was build in the mid-nineties. So that stadium lacks the atmosphere of the old grounds..but also lacks the modern facilities from today.

That would be great. It's always the match of the season for me away v 020. Rather win at home, but the trip to the away match, the bottles, etc thrown at you when we arrive, makes me even more psyched up...

Think it easier for our players to play away & more difficult for Ajax at the moment to pay at home. Fancy our chances. Davids & Perez will only make them slower. We'll rape them on the break... Ref could be key.

By the way weird the still haven't announced who is the ref v PSV

Cruyff would have gone medieval on their asses, but then would ride into the sunset. Hes not the committed one for the long cause, would from the distance criticise and when asked to do the hands on approach would ease back, still he would have been a welcome voice.

FC Groningen seems to have it's act together ("no one will leave FC Groningen this winter":

NEC moet Fledderus uit het hoofd zetten

    08/01/2008 18:41
