Excellent. A channel fitting the quality of the league. Whistle

I still remember the show 'naked jungle', a crystal maze style game show starring a stark bollocks naked Keith Chegwin. They don't make em like that anymore. <Ale>

I understand then, that channel 5 is not a popular station in your country?

Do you think it will have a similar catalyst to the work that Channel 4 did in popularising Italian football?

Next season will be a very competetive and atmospheric league, do you think Channel 5 has the marketing and brain to make best use of this?

    Who will the presenters be?

    Hmmm

Maybe not a good move then, and unlikely to help popularise the league abroad,

Channel 4 did a fantastic job and Peter Brackley (sp.?) was an iconic voice, James Richardson is great and very funny, plus they still have their magazine going from the early 90s, and we can even buy it here in some news venders in Italy!!!

What are the best channels in England to watch football analysis? Who are your best presenters?

Eurosport by a country mile ..

Get Tim Caple + James Richardson

Channel 5 could get them ..

Sunset+Vine are doing the production .. so they may get their own personal.

I see the games on Setanta... its not great, but ok... but I hear next season they plan to reduce their coverage?? That would be terrible.

Maybe Channel 5 then... I Idon't really care, whereever they show Serie A, we will watch it... still beats the nicely presented/packaged domestic product... $h!t in a wrapper is still $h!t! Wink

yeah who cares if the presenters are moronic twats, its better than not being able to watch it.
Also how they can find commotators who are worse than john motson, mark 'lorro' twatinson and david pleate is beyond me...
It will be good to have seriaA back on english tv, i for one have missed it and im fucked if im subscribing to yet another fooking channel to watch just one programme.

Itr should be good, if they get James Richardson to present it and just try and recreate the Channel 4 program from the early 90s.

I think they need a high profile English player to get more viewers, so I guess channel 5 are hoping Lampard joins Juventus Whistle
