The Club will donate part of the money made in the derby against Atletico Madrid
Real Madrid, following their charitable convictions, will try to help the 90,000 Peruvians affected by the earthquake by donating part of the money made from ticket sales of the derby against Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
Real Madrid does a lot of charitable work. Besides organising events and signing agreements throught its Foundation, the Club annually collaborates with the Red Cross and with the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
After the Tsunami tragedy occured in the Indian Ocean, the Club set up several desks asking people to donate money to help the victims. The Club's latest charitable effort took place in December, when it donated all the money made from the match against Recreativo Huelva to the families of Huelva fans who died in a bus accident on their way to Madrid to see the match.
Helping out the victims of the terrible earthquake that took place in Peru a few days ago, Real Madrid once again prove to worry about poor families and people affected by natural disasters.
