Skysports were just saying that a survey has just been composed looking at who has the best ground, looking at the stadium, the food, atmosphere and transport availibility.

I expect most people to be biased but what are your favourite grounds (based on whatever you want), list your top 5 ! Oh and obviously post pics.

    Nah it aint.

I only been to about 6 stadiums, so it's more putting them in order than choosing anything. Wembley is definitly the best one though.

they are the 5 grounds I have enjoyed watching footy most in my 30+ years of watching footy, its v hard to do this any other way, I haven't been to OT since England v Wales so how can I compare that to Millennium today for example its impossible unless you've been to every ground in the last 12 months.

I haven't been to any stadia outside the UK for football. Out of the club stadia I've been to I genuinely think the Emirates is the best in terms of quality. It's a great stadium for watching football and the whole stadium is built to a very high standard. For me this makes it better than Old Trafford, although OT feels more closed-in which I like. There are some good seats at OT, but I've been there before and sat in fairly rubbish areas as well. I like the Holte End, it produced a good atmosphere for watching football.

The Millenium Stadium is a great stadium once you are in the actual seating area, as long as you aren't up in the heavens. The new Wembley is very impressive as well, although I haven't watched football in there yet.

I really miss our North Bank though.

From the ones that I have been to:

    1. Stadio Olympico, Rome (just love going there)
    2. San Siro (a bit biased, I will admit)
    3. Santiago Bernabeu (wow!)
    4. Salt Lake stadium, Calcutta (gigantic, what a crowd!)
    5. Stamford Bridge (even tho that day the crowd was sad, I loved the small/close feel to it)

The ones that I really want to visit:
    1. Camp Nou
    2. Maracana, Rio
    3. Stadio San Paolo, Naples
    4. Wembley
    5. Amsterdam Arena

well, you need to watch a derby there to feel the atmosphere....

But yeah, its a huge stadium, not the best for viewing football.

Screw the tour, just go for a game... the tickets are easily available and cheap, Roma plays some thrilling football, and the crowd atmosphere rocks!!

I have seen Inter play Roma twice there, and would love to see that fixture again.

    Some advise:
    1. Drink before you go - Italian stadiums don't serve alcohol inside.
    2. If you buy your ticket from Rome, do not cheer the away side Wink
