This England team looks so much more confident and free flowing than before, and a big difference on Eriksson's teams, which even struggled to boring wins against the small sides.

Not really. Shevchenko fell before the challege was made anyway. And we had a stonewall penalty turned down for us also.

Scotland's second goal was good, although the defending was shocking.

Does that make Henry France's all-time top scorer? If not how far away is he from Platini's total?

No disrespect to the Scottish, but it's terrible for football that a park the bus, ride their luck, then counter attack team like Scotland is favourites for qualifying for Euro 2008. Similar to Greece in 2004.

As opposed to pampered posers who think turning up is enough to secure qualification? Gimme Scotland over France or Italy at the current moment.

Scots are realistic folk. If they play this way there is a reason unlike other big footballing countries they do not have the talent pool.

Incredible achievement for a 22 year old. At this rate he will end up with the most caps and most goals in Portuguese history.

I wonder how much more he has to do to emulate the likes of Rui Costa and Luis Figo as Portuguese greats.
