What can Shearer do seriously though, the man has no experience.
Has he even done his coaching badges and all that.

This is nothing more than wishful thinking tbh. I'd say there's about as much chance of Henry VIII being appointed. McClaren would have zero support from the fans.Ade Alves wrote:Luis wrote:Step up McClaren

Re: Big Sam leaves
What now for Allardyce, a step back down to a smaller club which he can try to build up as he did with Bolton? I can't see too many other options, his reputation has taken a bit of a bruising since the summer.

Re: Big Sam leaves
They need a 5 year plan to acquire top 6 finish with consistancy, Newcastle need to install who they believe is the best man for the job and allow him a long period to establish the club again.
I don't think they'll find a good manager in the current climate, will be very interesting to see who they appoint.

Lets be honest here he could leave 1 team in mid-table to another, I think if he was ever to be interested it be in the summer have a whole season to work with, plus he still wants to coach at the next World Cup so he be looking at one of those international teams he listed to give him a call. Martin Jol would not be a bad shout he wants to get back into the Premiership and have Big Al as assistant the Geordie's would love this.

Would be an excellent coup if they did. Might make them half decent.
Plus he'd actually play N'Zogbia in the correct position, thus rendering all of Dimbo's excuses for his poor performances officially void.
