Midweek fixtures including Real Madrid. Key points of discussion for this round, I think, will be - who should lead Barcelona out for the pasillo? Should Laporta also come down and applaud the champions when they take the field? Who is the bigger coward - Deco or Eto'o (for provoking their 5th yellow card so they don't have to participate in the pasillo)?

Ok, now that I'm done winding up - there really are some important matches still. The winner of Racing-Sevilla will still have possibilities to go for the 4th CL spot. Will Atletico win away to awful Espanyol or will they choke as usual? How will Valencia be received in Mestalla after their humilliation yesterday? Lost of Valencia-Zaragoza is going to be in big trouble going into the last two rounds of the season as they fight it out with Recreativo and Osasuna to avoid the drop.

well given the fight shown by zaragoza on saturday compared to the lack of effort from the valenccians yesterday, then the mestalla mob are in big trouble, sods law aimar to score to put them in the $h!t big style

Also we have to watch for the Pichichi as Dani Guiza has now overtaken Fabiano.

Zamora may not be settled quite yet. Despite the talk of Iker being rested to ensure he gets it, Valdés could still take it if Iker does not play.

If Iker is rested to ensure he gets the Zamora it is cowardly and hypocritical. He deserves to win it the right way or not at all. Totally hypocritical to support that and condemn Eto'o and Deco for their bookings.

Marca must be going crazy with joy...for weeks they kept hyping up the possibility of a pasillo, and unlike most occasions, this time it actually worked out for them. Suddenly Wednesday's game has now become "El Clasico del pasillo"

They dont deserve this. instead it should be players like Deco and now Eto that get it.

I have never ever been so indifferent to a clasico.. there is absolutely nothing to play for.. And actually if we win then I will just be wondering why the f@ck the players didn't get their arses into gear earlier..

If Atleti beat Espanyol, that will go someway to securing their 4th place.

I read on Sid Lows weekly blog about la liga that Higuain said it while celebrating but it could be a joke from Sids side.
either way the Real fans should return the favour to Eto allthough i dont think what he said was that bad since rivals should be allowed to say what they feel. the problem for me was more who said it.

I'm sure Kun will turn up. Simao has been a miss in recent weeks. He was hitting some form before his injury. But how good has Nacho been? I said at the start of the season he should be promoted to the first squad, and Aguirres decision has been vindicated.

If Madrid fans chant that at Eto'o the club should be fined for it. After all he was fined twice as much as Zaragoza got for the racist abuse of him for it. Apparently this ludicrous Spanish federation thought that what Eto'o said would lead to hordes of Barca fans attacking Madrid. Yeah right!

So apart from El Clasico, there are 2 other massive games tonight - Racing-Sevilla and Zaragoza-Valencia.

Zaragoza will be without Diego Milito.

Sevilla have only lost twice in their last ten visits to el Sardinero.

I thought there was only the pasillo tonight

a nice draw in santander would do nicely. as for zaragoza milito will be a big miss after Oliveira on the weekend couldn't hit a barn door from 2 yards
