is he really? Yikes Eboue against Iniesta? affraid

Koscielny on the bench and doesn't look like he'll make his debut, good for us but disappointing for him.

Bac looks he's been bashed around a bit.

I've only seen bits of Denmark v England but believe Wilshere, Walcott and Bendtner all came through unscathed.

Sagna took an forearm to the face in stoppage time but continued until the end. Diaby played for 30 mins + Koscielny & Clichy didn't get on the pitch.

I am happy for Neymar, bt fuck this midfield. Elano and Ramires ar fine, but Jadson and Lucas are so average. why not Lucas from Sao Paulo?

Neymar and Damiao are th best so far.

We were lucky to get away with 2-0, should have been 4 or 5.

Neymar really looks like a top player, despite the twattish hair and silly socks.

We play Japan this wednesday. It's basically a Perú "B" team since my man Sergio Markarian is trying to consolidate at least 18 to 19 players that he can count on for the qualifiers.

    --------------------------------Libman-----------------------------------

    Revoredo---------------Acasiete----------Vilchez-------------Rabanal

    ------------------Balbín-------------------Cruzado------------------------

    Advíncula-----------------------Ramírez--------------------Cueva

    ---------------------------------Farfán---------------------------

So there you go, only three first team starters. Notables missing are: Pizarro, Vargas, Rodríguez, Zambrano, Guerrero, Aguirre among others.

We won't lose to Japan and to the Czech Republic. <Ale>

Considering that it was basically our "B" team (except Farfán and Ramírez) playing against basically the team that mopped the floor with your team just before the World Cup and who finished in a respectable position in South Africa...all in all I considered not losing to them in their own house a good result. Unlucky us hitting the post TWICE and Ramírez missing a free header at the death.

Howard Webb is now an agent for the anti-Peruvian football team conspiracy, is he?

I reckon Howard Webb is going to replace DSK at the IMF. You just watch, come June 9th he'll be in Switzerland at the Bilderberg meeting, then his coronation as a finance gangster will take place. It's all written amigo, every last word...

We WILL BE THERE, Boro! AND I HOPE the group looks like something similar to 1978: Perú, Netherlands, England (takes Scotland's spot), and an Asian team.

We DESTROY you 4-1 in opening match, the ref will help the Dutch to a draw (AGAIN), and we'll smoke Japan or whomever Asian ends up in our group. We'll top the group for sure! <Ale>

Peru and Ramón Quiroga were very much in on the most corrupt World Cup EVER in 1978!

Them Argies knew that Peru needed to get out of their group in order to give them their required "bye" into the final. The Argies played every game in the evening, so they knew exactly WHERE they stood in the group stages, and stalled that game against Peru until after Brazil had played so they both knew exactly how many goals Peru should lose by to Argentina.

Never has there been a more staged and corrupt World Cup in history. Them officials did everything they could to stop the Dutch and Scots on orders from the Military junta operating in Argentina at the time - including giving a nothing free kick to Peru for the tie turning 2nd goal against the Scots and then tampering with Willie Johnston's drugs test after the game to cover it up - point the finger at the CHEATING EUROPEANS/BRITS! Get the monkeys jumping in their cage, blaming them DIRTY foreigners.

Quiroga himself knew he'd NEVER get sent off, no matter what he did, cos he knew what was going on. He knew Peru would be thrown a lifeline at every opportunity. Against Poland in the knockout group B, he knew he could rugby tackle at the halfway line and not get done for it (0.30):
