These sort of matches where the opposition plays with two bank of 4 very close their goal requires a lot of patience and optimal concentration (not to concede). Barca went asleep and Numancia took their chance, now it becomes much more difficult to get anything out of the game.

Barca should be more patient with their passing(playing it long is not the solution as we've seen in the 1st half) and I'm sure they'll find an opening later in the game.

I'd bring on Hleb If I were Pep, he's very adept at keeping the ball in confined areas.

Brit is proving to be a handful for Puyol and Marquez.

Didn't Guardiola claim that he understood that Messi played best further upfield? Why is it that Messi keeps dropping so deep and gets the ball 40 meters away from goal every time where he poses no danger?

This could be a 5 day cricket match and we still won't penetrate the Numancia defense effectively. Credit to them, they've prepared well and know exactly what each of our players is going to do. But we aren't helping our case by just standing around. What a disaster.

Probably because he would never get the ball, if he would stay further upfield.

The way Barca are playing reminds me of Arsenal before Adebayor became a mainstay in the team; pass, pass, pass, pass without anyone to aim at(with long ball) in the box.

Lessons to be learned against teams that park the bus:

- Don't concede 1st. It only serves as an extra motivation and discourages them from taking the slightest of risks.

- Be patient with your passing, and pass it at great pace.

- Take your chances.

Congratulations for Numancia. Their execution of "low budget teams plan vs Barca" was very good.

Well, we did conceded first, we did ok with passing, just our finishing was very poor, and a bit unlucky.
